Itinerary

Day 1 : HOME to Kochi

Take a flight from Pune to Kochi.

Our driver will pick you up from the Kochi Airport.Check into hotel.Post Lunch enjoy the guided Heritage walk. Heritage Walk and Chinese Fishing Net: Walk through the streets and allies of Fort Kochi, which is the old Kochi area. Here you will find glimpses and traces of vaious colonial European cultures, like those of Portugese and Dutch. Walk around the local markets. Its a photographer's delight.The places you will find in this tour are Paradesi Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis CSI Church, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica and the famous Chinses fishing nets. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 2 : Kochi to Kumarakom

After breakfast leave for Kumarakom. It is about 50 KM or 30 miles and takes around 2 hours.

A Day in a Luxury Houseboat: It is a private hotel floating on the Backwaters of Kerala. The houseboats in Kerala is an experience that you can hardly afford to miss. The houseboats will have only you and your family. Day 3 : Kumarakom to Munnar

After Breakfast leave for Munnar- It is about 150 KM or 100 miles and takes around 5 to 6 hours.

Munnar is one of the most beautiful hill stations in India. It is known for sprawling tea plantations, picturesque towns, winding lanes, national parks and much more.Check into Hotel at Munnar Kalari Kshetra - In the evening, enjoy a cultural show of martial arts, called Kalari, which is prelevant in this part of the country. You can also watch the famous Kathakali dance by experts professionals. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 4 : Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, you can visit the following places -

Eravikulam National Park- Eravikulam National Park in Kerala has the largest surviving population of Nilgiri tahr, estimated at about 750 individuals. The other ungulates are lion-tailed macaques, gaur, Indian muntjac and sambar deer. Golden jackal, jungle cat, wild dog, dhole, leopard and tiger are the main predators. Elephants make seasonal visits.132 species of birds have been recorded which include endemics like black-and-orange flycatcher, Nilgiri pipit, Nilgiri wood pigeon, white bellied shortwing, Nilgiri flycatcher and Kerala laughingthrush.

Echo Point- It is popular for its natural echo phenomenon. Here, one can always see the area full of eager visitors throughout the year. At an altitude of about 600 ft, people love taking a walk in the lush greenery surrounding the place.

Mattupetty Dam- Mattupetty Dam in Munnar is located near the confluence of the mountain streams of Muthirappuzha River, Chanduvarai River and Kundale River. Enjoy the beauty of the lake, cradled with the mountain ranges. You can also do boating in the lake.The reservoir is also known to be one of the visiting grounds of elephants in the region.

Kannan Devan Tea Factory- Tata Tea opened the museum which houses curiosities, photographs and machineries, depicting a turning point that contributed to Idukki's flourishing tea industry. Visitors and tea lovers can see various stages of the tea processing – Crush, tear, curl - and learn about the production of Kerala black tea variants. A section of the museum also houses classic bungalow furniture and office equipment of the Colonial area in Kerala. Tea tasting across different varieties of tea is another attraction here. A 2nd-century burial urn was discovered at the Periakanal tea estate; it is also displayed at the museum.

Day 5 : Munnar Jeep Safari and Munnar to Thekkady

After Breakfast, take the Jeep Safari- Take the Jeep Safari to some fascinating places that the normal car fails to reach. In these 3 hours of jeep safari, you will see various places like the Hanging Bridge, Movie Shooting Places, Ripple Waterfalls, Ponmudi Dam, Nedumbara Viewpoint, and much more.

Enjoy the ride in green and serene Munnar. If you love photography, keep your camera in hand.

Then you may leave for Thekkady, which is about 90 KM or 60 miles and takes 3 - 4 hours.

Check into Hotel at Thekkady.In the evening, enjoy Ayurvedic Massage Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6 : Thekkady Sightseeing

After Breakfast you can visit the following places :

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary- The Periyar lake in Thekkady is part of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerala. Boating is the best way to adore the beauty of the lake and the national park. Take the morning boat. Chances are that you will catch sight of the animals coming near the waterbodies to drink water. Elephants, deer, bison and even big cats, if you are lucky! Another activity in Periyar Lake in Bamboo Rafting. Embark on this amazing experience. The technique for this water activity is pretty simple, all you need to do is just float in the water. You will be guided by trained experts who will help you in all the basics of bamboo rafting such as riding the raft and gliding through the waters. This activity also require a short nature trail.Abraham's Spice Garden- Visit the Spice Plantation to know about the great culture of spice farming in Kerala. Here you can interact with the agriculturists to know more about the spice cultivation, organic farming, use of plants in medicine (ayurveda) and the scientific knowledge about each spices. See the spices like pepper, cardamon, tumeric and muc more. Here, you might be able to buy farm fresh spices for cooking and ayurvedic medicines.Elephant Farm- Visit an elephant farm in Thekkady for about an hour. Enjoy elephant ride. You can also see how the elephants are domesticated, how they help in carring the wood logs.This is a nice and thrilling experienc that you cannot afford to miss. Day 7 : Return to HOME

After Breakfast, you may check out and our driver will drop you to the Kochi Airport.
